Kanoto-iwa (Rocher Kanoto)
Kanoto-iwa, a strange sight with about 100-meter-high bedrock towering on both sides, is a mysterious landscape of exposed strata 250 million years old.
In the narrow corridor-like valley, the clear stream runs down the rocks, echoing through the rocks.
There is a boardwalk along the stream, which you can pass through with the help of chains.
The return trip can be made through the forest road tunnel, but be careful of your footing as the curved tunnel makes it dark for several meters in some sections.

Take a bus bound for Fujikura (藤倉) from Musashi-Itsukaichi Station (武蔵五日市) and get off at the “Kanoto iwa iriguchi (神戸岩入口)” bus stop. Kanotoiwa is about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop.
